"Surf n Turf" is a story about how two children - a fisherman’s daughter and a butcher’s son - come up with an idea to stop the fight that sparked from a simple argument between their fathers.
This 2D animation project blends cut-out/collage and traditional 2D techniques to create stylized, nostalgic visuals inspired by illustrated children's books. Using textured, colorful designs, it engages a wide audience, adding depth and conveying a meaningful message that evokes childlike wonder and creativity in both children and adults.
Inspired by childhood memories and Pixar’s 'One Man Band,' this animation explores how art can resolve conflicts through childlike imagination. Recalling a moment when a gift ended my parents' argument, it contrasts with darker depictions of conflict, showcasing instead how innocence and creativity can mediate adult disputes.
